Get your shine box!

This was one of my first forays into superhero movies (and how to pronounce "M" words without lips)! Raimi will always be near and dear to our hearts and he really knocked one out with this one! Here's another film that we quote on a daily basis (funny how similar our lives are to Darkman... We should probably look into that... Meh). We enjoyed this, we dare you to as well! Double dare! 

We sat our brother's from other mothers (Phil and Steve) down and talked Goondocks! Is it like, a suburb in Astoria or... I don't get it. This film is thought of fondly for it's influence on how people rip up shady contracts, throw them in the air and expect people to cheer. Guaranteed every time!! A great chat with these two wonderful gentlemen and a deep dive into Goon culture that has never been done before! 

This is a pivotal movie for us! Not without it's flaws but a hell of a film! Man we watched the shit outta this one too, so quotable! So many iconic scenes! So many weird accents! We tried some new audio equipment with this one which will take some tweaking, Excuses!!

We have always been massive Mel Brooks fans but you never appreciate enough how many people he can expertly offend! It's magnificent! There is a level of subtlety in this film that I never gave enough credit to when I was a kid. And the women in this film!!! Comedic geniuses!!! 

We talk the crap out of this 80's sex comedy! Hot off the success of Mazes and Monsters, Tom Hanks dumps out this crazy mix of every gross out comedy of the 70s and 80s! Special guest Ross Smith: Actor, song writer and our good buddy of many years!

Wow! This one was dense! We had this one recommended to us form our Friend Dave and we're glad he did! The recap nearly kicked our ass but there is a crap ton to get out if it! Haven't seen it in a while? Go back and give it a go! Punch it in!! 

This one was buck wild!! How do you cram every single genre into one film? Krull's how!! Maybe not entirely successful but points for trying! Gotta shout out to 3 Geeky Dads for some great insights I took from their episode on this! https://www.3gdpodcast.com/

What can we say about this film that hasn't been said before? Turns out plenty! One day I want have as much fun as Frank Langella did in this film. Show me the sequel! (Frank promised!)
